About GatherCycle

Built by someone who learned the hard way that great content alone doesn't fill rooms.

Our Story

The craft of an event is in the experience itself - the content, the venue, the agenda, the materials. But the campaign surrounding the event - the weeks of promotion, the follow-up, the data collection, the evaluation - is where a one-time event becomes a repeatable business.

After 20 years inside organizations, Nathan Rohm was laid off and began building a workshop practice. He was good at designing learning experiences. He spent weeks on a collaborative decision-making workshop, bought good markers, ordered real lunch, found a venue with natural light. And then 11 people showed up out of 40 he'd expected. He had spent 20% of his effort on the campaign and 80% on the experience. Great content and a full room turned out to be different skills.

He looked at every tool available. Eventbrite handled ticketing. Mailchimp sent emails. Notion held notes. FlowAlong delivered the workshop. Spreadsheets tracked attendance. Five tools that never talked to each other, with no way to learn what worked across campaigns. So he built GatherCycle - a single platform for the full campaign lifecycle, built around the 6E Framework: Entice, Enter, Engage, Exit, Extend, Evaluate.

Our Vision and Values

Vision

Workshops, courses, and community events run as programs rather than one-off scrambles, with the infrastructure to build a sustainable practice out of them.

Mission

Give workshop facilitators, course instructors, and event-driven organizations a single platform for the full campaign lifecycle - so every event makes the next one better.

Values

Systematic over sporadic. Complete over fragmented. Every feature we build connects the promotional content to the registration list to the delivery experience to the outcome measurement.

Meet Nathan Rohm

Nathan spent 20 years in organizational consulting and team leadership before a layoff prompted a different question: what did he want to do with that experience? The answer was workshops - collaborative learning experiences where you can watch something click for someone in real time.

The workshops were good. Getting people to them was the problem. After the 11-person workshop that should have had 40, Nathan realized the coordination infrastructure for event campaigns didn't exist as an integrated tool. Five separate platforms, no thread connecting them, no way to learn what worked.

He built GatherCycle with a specific belief: AI belongs on the operational overhead that keeps experts from their craft. The craft itself is not its job. The 6E Framework is what Nathan wished had existed when he was running his first workshop campaigns.

"Many people love giving workshops and don't know how to build a business around driving people to them. AI shouldn't replace that relationship - it should handle the campaign infrastructure so the facilitator can focus on what they do best."
